Hello and greetings, my friends!
I’m excited and honored to announce that today, May 1, 2019, is the official launch of Karen K. Bannister International LLC! As an executive life coach and image consultant, I serve my clients by inspiring them in their journey toward their personal and professional growth and realizing their dreams.
This business – and my purpose, or my “why” – developed organically. I have found that everything in my life that I have learned and experienced has led me to and prepared me for this moment.
On this road, while I was attempting to figure all this out, I have changed jobs, started writing, experienced major life changes and transitions, and I even started other businesses – but didn’t find the joy, success, or fulfillment I desired and expected because my heart wasn’t in it. You see, for the past 25 years, my work has been executive office administration and management in the C-Suite, but I was fortunate enough to have interacted with all levels of management and employees on a daily basis in various industries. That provided me a very unique viewpoint – both in business and life in general, because I got to witness it from the top and from the bottom. Although I was good at it – I mean, REALLY good at it, at Rockstar level – it just never felt right, like something was missing, maybe a feeling I’m sure a few of you understand.
Since I was a young girl, and even entering the workforce at the ripe age of 14 (don’t worry, it was with a school work permit, and it was all my idea!), my passions revolved around teaching, mentoring, training others, and helping them get to where they wanted to be. And as I’ve gotten older, I’ve been lucky enough to have successfully translated that fire in my belly into helping people break through their barriers and challenging their beliefs and self-inflicted limitations and improving their lives.
Now in addition to my experience and professional training and certifications, this summer I will receive my business degree with a focus on organizational leadership. It’s been a long journey, but I can see the goal line and I’m so looking forward to hanging that diploma on my wall. And…since continuous learning is important to me, I won’t stop there. I’m constantly searching for and staying curious about the latest methods and research from some of the best in my fields. And will I pursue a Master’s degree? It’s on my radar…
You’ll come to know me as being honest, sometimes to a fault…loyal to and fiercely protective of my friends and loved ones…and dealing with a mild case of OCD, which probably helps keep me focused on the details. I’m pretty even keel and it takes a lot to get me truly upset. Now, if you knew me 10 years ago, you may want to call Bullsh*t, but my experiences have greatly affected me, and I’ve done a lot of work with my own coaches and research and am now a happier person as a result. That being said, I can be stubborn, but I know what I want and won’t settle for anything less – nor should you, right? I’m sarcastic, I drop the F bomb probably more than expected, so you should know that going in.
So…that’s me in a brief nutshell – and I have a lot more about me in the coming weeks. And I want to reassure you that the life-changing work we do together will be in any direction scale you need or desire. In fact, let’s try something –envision your perfect life. Go big, add or remove anything you need to get it… You have it? GREAT!
Some of you may have conjured up a new house or a grand vacation. Or 30 minutes a day to yourself to read or meditate. Or just use the bathroom in peace. Yeah, I remember those days! Perhaps you thought about that promotion or scaling your business or building a stronger team…or maybe, like a lot of people, you had difficulty focusing on a picture. But maybe you just know you want something different or something needs to change. And that’s OK! We can figure that out together. Again, everyone has a different version of perfect – which helps make the world the exciting place that it is. What I provide for you is the environment and guidance in a confidential, supportive, safe, non-judgmental space.
I want you to accept that your goals are exactly right for you, and they deserve manifestation. I’m already on your side and don’t have my own selfish agenda. I won’t try to talk you out of anything or push you toward something else. As long as you’re ready to have thoughtful, deep-dive conversations and do the necessary work, the process is transformative and almost magical.
Does that sound like something you’d like to be a part of? Yes? YES!
Now! I have more exciting news!
I’m launching my podcast series later this month. Woo hoo!
And…and this is truly exciting for me to share with you…my first book is scheduled to be published by June 15th! The working title is “Closing the Gap – 7 Transformative Steps from Today to Tomorrow”…and it includes insightful, researched-based information, my personal philosophies and background upon which I base my work, and personal stories to help put things in perspective. It’s entertaining, enlightening and educational, and I’m so excited to share it with you. More information will be shared the closer we get to release day.
So, if you haven’t already, on my website, www.karenkbannister.com, sign up for notifications and additional information, because today’s announcement is just a scratch on the surface. There is so much coming up and I don’t want you to miss out on any of it. You’ll also find links for my Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube accounts…and my email address and phone number.
And I have one more thing, one more ask. I’d like to invite you to reach out to schedule a complimentary 30-minute exploratory call as I would love the opportunity to answer your questions, and perhaps work with you on your vision. Click the “Book Online” tab to get that done today.
I’d like to close with one of my favorite quotes by Winston Churchill:
“You make a living by what you get, you make a life by what you give”
So again, thank you checking in, I truly appreciate it. I hope you have a fabulous day, and until next time…
